G.A.A CLUB NOTES
Clodiagh Gaels Club Notes 23/8/15
Intermediate Hurling Championship
Clodiagh Gaels 2-12 Drumcullen 0-17
Drumcullen started quickest out of the blocks going into an 8 point to 2 lead before David Buckley rattled the net with a sensational goal. Points from Dwayne Dunne and Colm Gleeson brought us level only for Drumcullen to go in a point up at half time. Drumcullen were again out of the blocks the quickest and togged on point after point and led by 5 points going into the last 5 mins. A Colm Gleeson goal and points from Dwayne Dunne and David Buckley levelled it before a monster free from 65+ yards from Dwayne Dunne sealed the victory. A mention must go to the fans that were superb and we look forward to seeing ye in two weeks when we take on Lusmagh.
